KOOL-IT® Supreme Engine Coolant Treatment

KOOL-IT® Supreme Coolant Treatment is chemically engineered to reduce the surface tension of a coolant, thus allowing it to more deeply penetrate metal surfaces at vital heat transfer areas. This decreases operating temperatures and significantly reduces the possibility of engine overheating.

Cooling systems with 50/50 mix (antifreeze /water) run 5º-7º F cooler, and racing/performance applications using straight water run up to 20º F cooler. (Note: KOOL-IT does not provide freeze protection.)

Due to its unique chemical composition, KOOL-IT is very effective in preventing electrolysis, corrosion and pitting. The overwhelming majority of failures associated with aluminum radiators found in most newer cars/vehicles are due to corrosion. This corrosion is a result of deficient chemical protection within the coolant.

KOOL-IT will extend and increase the corrosion inhibiting ability of coolants thus preventing premature radiator failure. KOOL-IT works just as well in older copper and/or brass radiators.

ONLY COOLANT TREATMENT WITH BUILT IN pH INDICATOR

KOOL-IT is specially formulated with a built –in pH indicator, the only product of its kind, allowing easy visual determination of (100%) straight water coolant pH. Coolant within safe range is light pink in color, but goes to clear if coolant pH falls dangerously low, indicating another pint should be added. PH color indicator registers only in straight water applications. Will not register in antifreeze/water mixtures.

Directions For Use:

Never remove radiator cap if engine is still hot. With engine cool, pour KOOL-IT into radiator, start engine, turn heat on high, and run for 10 minutes. This opens the thermostat and circulates KOOL-IT through the entire system, providing full protection to the heater core, radiator core, water pump, cylinder heads, block, and intake manifold. Always maintain a minimum of 15% antifreeze in cooling systems of street driven vehicles with A/C. Ratio: One pint treats cooling systems of 12-20 quarts. Systems over 20 quarts add one ounce of KOOL-IT for each additional quart. Frequency: Add 1 pint every year or 30,000 miles, whichever comes first. After 5th consecutive year, drain, flush, and refill cooling system. For further overheating protection, use LUBEGARD Bio-Tech Engine Oil Protectant (part #: 30901).
