why Kooler Kleen outperforms the competition
3 in 1 Kooler Kleen
  Cooler Line Flush

Kooler Kleen contains no solids. It is non-corrosive to skin, glass or metal surfaces. It dissolves oil and cleans without damaging or causing deposits.

Aqueous caustic cleaning solutions contain corrosive caustic just like oven and drain cleaners. It can damage glass, eyes, skin and some metal surfaces. If it is not completely rinsed out it will dry to a solid and become a contaminant in your transmission.

Kooler Kleen, primarily a mineral spirit cleaner, is similar to the oils used in ATFs. It will not harm clutch paper surfaces even when soaked in Kooler Kleen for 8 hours.
Note: this is NOT a recommended practice.

Aqueous caustic cleaners are destuctive to clutch paper materials. Pictured here is a clutch paper that was soaked in an aqueous caustic flush for 8 hours.
Note: this is NOT a recommended practice.

Kooler Kleen is inert with regards to metals. It will not attack metal components such as aluminium, zinc and others.

Caustic cleaning solution will dissolve aluminium. This picture shows hydrogen gas being generated while the caustic solution eats the aluminium bar.

Kooler Kleen has more volume for the weight than heavy salt and water solution. So you get more volume of cleaning solutions per can, as much as 10% more.

Water is dense and water with caustic salts dissolved is even heavier. So you get less volume of cleaning solution per can of flush, as much as 10% less.

Kooler Kleen likes and dissolves oils varnishes and other organic compounds. This results in immmediate thinning and draining of these materials. The right method counts when you are cleaning where you cannot reach or inspect the surfaces.

Aqueous caustic flushes work by breaking up and carrying drops of oil other deposits out of the cooler. The oil and water are not compatible and the water is not always able to remove the oil from the surfaces.
