SEAL-E-ZEE® Cones are for use with SEAL-E-ZEE spray-on products for installing and seating difficult seals without damaging them
The professional technicians speedy way to safely fit any seal with
confidence! The SEAL-E-ZEE Application Cones are 6 sizes of varying diameters
to fit virtually any size seal-application to help technicians overcome
difficulties fitting molded pistons and lip-seals.
Molded pistons and Lip-seals are shaped up to a 45 degree angle. This makes them difficult to install without damaging them. The SEAL-E-ZEE Application cones allow you to re-shape the seal to a negative angle when the piston is firmly & evenly pressed into or over the cone in the proper direction. By spraying SEAL-E-ZEE Step 1 directly to the edge of the seal where it meets the cone, this holds the seal in place
at the negative angle. If there are multiple seals involved on the piston,
follow up by spraying the more intense SEAL-E-ZEE XTREME Step 2 over the same area. This will hold the seal in place longer so you have time to apply SEAL-E-ZEE Step 1 & 2 to the other seal surfaces. Then you can remove the piston from the cone, or cones and install it into the cylinder with ease.
